<-- prev next --> The artist book Oslo – New York deals with the relationship between gentrification, the art scene, construction-technique and principles of construction. During a stay in New York I noticed that buildings seemed to be constructed in a much higher pace than in my home city Oslo. The book is build on a conversation between my dad and me, where he explains similarities and differences in principles of construction used in Norway as opposed to other countries, and their respective effects on the efficiency of construction. In addition to the conversation – presented as a text, the book also consists of photos from New York and Oslo, showing different principles of construction for larger buildings.
